My -uncertain- future job


Today I'm going to talk about my future job. I'am not sure about my future in general haha but I will try imagine it :)

When I decided to study this career, my favourite area was journalistic research and still is -in part-. But today I really like other ways to do journalism, for example make radio. It's a good experience talk in front a microphone because in some place of the world someone listen to you, also I think is a special way that give a message.



If I work in one of that areas, I will have to work in a indoors places but also in outdoors. I think to be a good journalist its necessary visit the places where the things happen and see the realities of the people.  

I would like to travel in my future job, who not? I want live in other country one day and maybe work like journalist, for that I will have to study about the social, political and cultural problems of that place. Or maybe do something more "easy" like a program about travel and my experiences out of Chile (that is a dream, like the TV program of Pancho Saavedra haha). 

My salary expectation is low, that is a hard chilean reality:( but I have hopes for the future, If we made a different job, with independent and creative ideas, we will create other ways to do journalism.

At the moment I want finish my career and I cant imagine other career or master. But some interesting themes to study for me are gender-feminism and environment.

    I love the phrase "we will create other ways to do journalism". It is not necessary that we think about one idea or prototype of journalism, we can vary more :)

Chill music and the great Jorja Smith

Hi, Today I am going to talk about my favorite music genre. Honestly I don't have a priority. I really like different types of singers and genres, but for this blog I chose R&B. This genre is a mix of blues, pop, soul, funk, hip hop and electronic music (I think). When I listen this type of music I feel very relax and calm. One of my favorite contemporary singers of R&B is Jorja Smith. She is a British musician, played instruments and write her songs since her childhood. Actually she wrote her first song at 11. I can't choose one sing of her because I like many, but On My Mind and Fine lines are very good songs. Usually she talk about her feelings, but also she mention some social problems associated to her experiences like as black woman. Sometimes I don't understand all lyrics but I search the meaning to memories it. Often I listen when I need some peace and its cool for do university work. Summer plans

Hi! today I am going to write about my summer plans. I am not sure where i going to this vacation, but i have some ideas. I want to travel with my boyfriend and with a group of friends to a different places.  I want go to north of Peru in December with my partner, probably during a week or something like that. If we go we will visit Trujillo, Mancora and any other cities or towns on the road. Some people recommend me the beaches of that cities.  At the moment we don`t have tickets :( because are expensive during the last time.  Also we have a second option: go to the south of Chile. We knew some places in other vacations but this time would be nice visit the extreme south, maybe Austral Highway. Anyway we need a break of Santiago! For other hand, one school friend will be visit to me for a few days during January. I dont know what we will doing but probably we visit to other friend on Lebu, in the region of BioBio, or maybe to the beach near of Santiago. I don...

My future studies :)

Today I am going to talk about postgraduate studies. Actually I study journalism, in my penultimate year. For that reason its difficult for me talk about other studies, like a master. I need finish this career to do other things out of the University. If I study other course I want to study after a couple of years finished journalism. I think it is important co ntinue the studies because in this career field its hard work like a reporter in a mass media, but with a specialization we can do different things in many area of journalism, not be caught to conventional media.  I´m not sure  about a specific subject to study in the future, but I have some preferences. I like the studies connect environment, gender, Latin American culture  and obviously communication.
